SFC1000 fairing ?220
This original SFC fairing was used as a 'master' by 'BOBA' (well known in Laverda circles for his high quality reproduction bodywork in carbon fibre) to produce a run of carbon fibre replica fairings. Boba thoroughly refurbished the unit for this, stripping paint right back and repairing existing cracks. The inside of the fairing was treated to layer(s?) of woven fibre matting and has a much cleaner finish than the chopped strand original. Exterior was just primer finished.
It has also given the fairing some additional rigidity.
This unit has been in storage in my garage for several years now and is now suffering from some surface 'crazing' on exterior but I?m sure that this could be easily remedied with appropriate flexible filler prior to painting . Mounting holes for screen and indicators have been left undrilled to suit final application/accessories. Replica screens are available to order from Skidmarx in UK.
