My immaculate low mileage SFC1000 (#3010) seeks a new custodian.
Purchased 10 years ago with 2,400 kms on the clock, this wonderful bike is ridden regularly.
Currently with 18,500kms, its barely run in.

Modest enhancements include:
> M1R Forks upgraded with fully adjustable ‘Sports Valves’
> Rear suspension upgraded with adjustable Racetech Custom Series shocks. (set for 82kgs)
> Fitted front & rear with Continental CR3 Radial tyres (transformative!)
> Ignition upgraded to Sachse Electronik system.
> Fitted with full stainless steel exhaust system (Witt?)
> Fitted with Roland DAS fully adjustable handlebars (the best!)
> Inclusive of a range of spares & all the original parts.

The bike runs faultlessly and handles beautifully, with the mods undertaken.
A rare opportunity to be the next custodian, of one of the the last real Laverda's.

Yes - that's the sizes I've fitted.
I've gone through a couple of sets of these tyres, and they have become tricky to obtain in Oz.
So much so that a generous forum member kindly re-shipped an unobtainable front 100/90 from the UK, for me.
For which I was most grateful. (You know who you are (y))
Cost a few $ in freight, but certainly worth it.
 
When I was searching for oddball rubber I'm Oz I found help from this bloke. He put me in touch with the Queensland based national Bridgestone Distributer, funnily enough an ex RGS owner who specaly ordered what I wanted. Ordering and getting them was 2 different things, the factory gives them what they think they want. Point is going up the chain of command can help sometimes.

Same experience here, Vince.
I got sick of finding "Out of Stock" on the Bridgestones I wanted at every retailer, so I contacted Bridgestone.
Spoke to their Senior Product Manager (Motorcycle) - North Europe Region, who couldn't have been more helpful. He even put two sets aside for me, when stock arrived from Japan, and emailed me when they came in.
Service in the old style!
 
The local manager was saying he would order specific tyres and none would be in the Container on arrival. He got what they sent. This was pre-pandemic. I think this has a lot to do with modern business, they love that JUST IN TIME thing. Holding stock costs money and risks cost overruns in production. How many KTMs are now sitting about in warehouses worldwide? This will scare lots of manufacturers. I don't think there will ever be a fix for modern supply chain issues.
