Take note of the 'L' on the end of the part number, this means left. If you leave that off you have to re-route all the wires from one side to the other....DAMHIK... :o

Thanks for all the advice everybody.
As I need the bike on Sunday for the toy run, I bit the bullet and wizzed down to my local Battery World and picked up an ETX16L for $209  >:(.
Fiddled around last night modifying the bottom of the battery tray so so the battery won't slide around. I'll hook it up tonight and hopefully she'll be apples.
Once again, thanks for all the suggestions and help.

Terry

I parked the Pan in the garage after my last long trip around end of October, didnt wash it, just turned it off, been out on it several times since for local journeys, and one trip to London for a medical interview (truck license), havent bothered checking oil/water/tyres just glancing at the fuel gauge (the range is easilly 300 miles from full) ,went out on it yesterday in the pissing rain, no fear of damaging a "pride and joy" because its not one, just use it, it works, I use it, end of.
CLEM

ps just recieved (on a Sunday) a used stainless exhaust complete for ninety GBP (delivered), which will solve one up and coming problem, that of the rotting front pipes, why didnt they use stainless like BMW did with the K100?
