Surely 13mm?

I'm pretty sure that 14mm is the size socket I used last, but I'll check later  :)
The DIN standard for M10 x 1.25 reduced hex is 14mm A/F, full hex is 17mm A/F.
Of course this Laverda we're talking about, so it could be anything!!
13mm A/F would give you 1.5mm wall thickness, I'm guessing 2mm wall was more suitable?
Years back I put my late 180 Jota (120 cases) back and the nuts were butchered, so I turned up M10 1.25 nuts out of 17mm A/F bar, it just fit, the only downside was that I also had to turn down a socket to fit in the bracket!!

Small hex, ie 14 or 15mm, wasn't around in Europe for general use (maybe for aerospace applications) when the bike was built.  17mm tall hex was stock fitment, same as the rear engine mounts.

DIN hex for M10 is now 15mm, probably a weight-saving exercise on the part of the european automotive industry, don't know why the japanese standard of 14mm isn't universally adopted.  14mm/flanged can also be found here and there.

I don't remember having seen a 14mm on a Laverda. I don't have a 14mm spanner in my tool kit.

Only on the throttle cable adjuster where it enters the switchgear.
And any banjo bolts on the hydraulic brakes.
