My 70 SF0 came that side stand - Perfect side stand to look at your pride and joy fall over when parked - LOL
Learn to use your Center Stand - Never trust that short side stand for any length of time (Perhaps having a piss but not longer) - I believe you can use a longer Kawasaki side stand that is more reliable but can't remember specifics.
If you insist on using that side stand always carry a 6"x6" x 3/8's piece of board with you and then you gotta spend another 5 mins just to perch that bike !
I see you're missing the foot tang to lower it - Common breakage fault when carving corners and you shear it off - You can fix that by drilling though the shank tube and locking in a long 3/8" bolt to grab it with your toes.
Did not think I had a Pic of my ride parked using that side stand but here it is:
At least I'm on a flat piece of asphalt - Note the toe lowering bolt for the side stand ;o)
And the foot of the side stand is sinking into the asphalt - It won't be long before she falls over ;o(
Looks like I was in Touring Mode with that Samsonite Suit Case - LOL
That 70 SFO would do 120+ mph down any straight approaching 8000rpm.
You have to know a Breganzie is a Pig of a Ride until you get over 40 mph and she starts to wake up.
The 70 Breganzie SFC and SF0 was probably the 1st production Cafe Racer available for both Racers and the Public.
Just amazing how much power them 2 little pistons delivered in a 320 lb 1970 750cc Twin.
The engine handling does remind you of a big CC Single 2 stroke. No lag.
Refresh her engine on your wife's kitchen table - Providing you can get away with it ;o)
A modern 650 Suzuki could possibly cream our asses and it will be a Girl riding her.
Blanc and Blanc. I would never trust that Breganzie side stand.
It's basically an over engineering piece of SHIT that doesn't do it's job in my opinion.
I say from any experience a Beganzie rider knows that side stand is what it is.
That side stand is a Demon from Hell unless you're constantly aware of it !
Never ever walk your Breganzie on the left side with that side stand down - Always walk a Breganzie on the right ;o)
