Sidestands

I have one of Jim's excellent sidestand brackets on my Jota, with a ZZR1200 stand.

I think I read on the LP site that the ZZR600 stand is a better choice, but I don't remember why. Does it fold in closer?

The reason I ask is that I'm in the process of doing a similar thing with my Ducati, and the 1200 stand will fit nicely. I could buy another 1200 stand ($15 brand new from http://www.zzr1200parts.com/) or use the 1200 stand off my Laverda and replace that with a 600 stand - if the 600 is a better fit for the Laverda.

Cheers,
Cam

It is lighter because it is of tubular construction, and it is slightly shorter, meaning the attitude of the bike is more tilted.

Just saw this in town, could be a solution for you. Sorry about the photo, I was driving at the time :)

So just carry a lump of timber with you.
