Site down - now resolved

Apologies for the recent loss of service. Whilst my back was turned, a database error occurred which meant access to LaverdaForum was lost. Being away from home with just a smartphone and roaming data meant I had to call on our hosting company to restore an earlier backup. These are taken twice a day and sod's law meant the most recent backup was corrupted so they had to go back to 3am 10 July. Anything posted after then will have been lost, until restoration at approximately 1715hrs BST today, 12 July.

Second that! Until this afternoon I also was only travelling with my smartphone, and I don't like to delve as deeply into matters with these little cellphones as I do with a 'real' computer. I thought that the problem was something like what you described, and that you also were still travelling. On the other hand, I was naturally curious to know where others were who were still travelling.
