Hi guys , was gifted a pair of new old stock dellorto phm slides recently. They are marked 70/2. Any ideas what there for? Cheap price8

If they're for a PHM carb, they're of no use in the PHB/F Laverda carbs, you'll need a big hammer to fit them! PHM had throat sizes 38mm and more.

PHM were fitted to BMW R90/S, bevel Ducatis and 850cc onwards Moto Guzzi, probably others as well.

38mm and 40mm slide Dells were one size up from those for 32-36mm IIRC. So a slide for a 32mm will fit a 36 (disadvantage is less support for the slide in the larger 36mm venturi).

Measured tha slides and they are 38mm diameter. Cross checked with a a set of nos triple slides that I have and they measure the same

Pretty lean cutaway, Tom. I was able to run 70s on my SF1 but they would be crap on most other SFs or triples. thinketh I.
