Slipper clutch

Good and bad news. Hope not too nasty for the Mule. I also noticed that Matt IS racing his Beemer - and a DNF in R1 Bears F1/2.

Good luck tomoz.
Had a front brake issue on the BMW 1st race, fixed now

Should have built Slipper Clutches for the Laverda's 4 years ago, huge difference
Working very well in Veloce, 3rd race 1st in Class
Went out on slicks, started to rain end of the first lap
Very slippery , Matt did well starting from last on the grid

4th race, 2nd in class
Slipper Clutch started to, well slip, just not when we wanted it to, under power
Matt restricted to 1/2 - 3/4 throttle

Overall we are happy with the weekend, been a decent test for the Clutch
When we swapped it into the 2nd bike we had a close look at everything and there were no unexpected marks or wear so design is working great

We just need to work out spring pressures, slip stand off, Clutch plate pack overall dimension, etc

Well done Red and Team in flying the flag.

The Endurance team are shipping out Tuesday for Pau, a good friend of Tony's - Tim is coming who is a physio by trade hopefully we will not need is services!

Once again, well done in putting the Laverda name out there.
Andy

after the Phillip Island round where the Slipper clutch worked great we have started to machine another 3 Clutch packs
shown here back pressure plate still warm in the CNC
hopefully have both bikes set up with Slipper clutches for the Broadford round next month, that is one track where we will see the maximum benefit of these units
