Engine Laverda Chott/2TR, tank looks like early Penton/KTM, forks seem similar to those used in the Chott.  Some sort of Italo/Austrian co-operation?

Clocks and rider footrests also Laverda Chott.  Drive chain adjusters follow Laverda practise, rear wheel looks to be generic Grimeca.

Looks something like a Jawa Engine to me can't say what the frame is - Perhaps a Triumph 250 Trophy frame - Same frame as the 650 Bonniville.

Interesting Enduro Ride - 500 Single 2 stroke ?

Well, the pics show 2 different bikes, so there's probably more of them.

If it was a factory effort, there should be records of some sort, so Giovanni or Piero may be able to shed some light.

Piet: None of us has identified this bike so far, could be Cavaletti ;o)

Other then it looks to be an Enduro with a Jawa engine with Triumph frame.

I got no clue what it is other then what I see.

Very interesting Enduro though!
 
The owner confirmed that the bike, without papers, is for Sale at 1500 Euro 

For those of you interested please pm me

@Ron: I think Piet already correctly identified the bike as a Laverda Chott/TR based motorcycle with some special parts.

Have to admit, I'm tempted.  Will be a nice bike for somebody.

But I have a larger project before me, which will be draining all currently available bike-related resources!

I thought these bikes used Husky motors and then I noticed its a right side Kickstarter and most Huskys of that vintage are left side kickstarts? What am I missing here?

Hi Vince, the 250 Chott and the later 2TR from had LAVERDA motors, the LH125 and LH250 came with Husqvarna motors.
