Is there any information on the forks used on the mk4, I have a new unused set only they don't look unused. Is it possible to change the linear bearing for plain bearings.

The trick Motodd forks have linear ball bearings instead of plain bushes.  Less friction , less stiction.  Rough on the stanchions though.

Saxon frontend on Motods run linnier bearings and the BMW copy run plain bearings, supposedly the former is better or so I  have read. Beat me to it Piet
