MARVIC.IT
In 1983, thanks to the mixture between the ability to design and nearly thirty years of experience in casting technology of magnesium, was born MARVIC and with it Streamline.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the brand, Marvic proposes a milestone in its history: Light and reliable, the new Streamline wheels produced by Marvic constitute a real added value in terms of safety and aesthetic for each classic bike and for any purpose, show or racing.

In accordance with the original design and aesthetic Marvic has made only quality improvements.
In a few months it has achieved an unparalleled success thanks to the unique design, essential and futuristic, that even today requires a unique casting technique (three hollow spokes, with elliptical cross section) and thanks to significant reduction of unsprung weight and to the resulting well-known higher performance.

Streamline wheels are made by sand gravity casting, in the 17” size, in magnesium alloy and are suitable for tubeless tires.

What year are they from? The text below Marvic.it, is all from the factory when they relaunched the Streamline some years back. But only in 17”.
I have been looking for these in 18”. I was in contact with Marvic, and they strongly advised me not to buy old magnesium wheels, as they gets
brittle with age.

Regards Niels

You can get them tested for structural integrity but they are probably best suited for someone who wants to put them on a bike they keep in the garage and wants the bling factor for when he’s telling his mates how special the bike is. The cost then doesn’t really become a significant factor which, as I said before, is lots and lots.
