Hi Step:

In 2006, I started on my first SFC Replica project, I started with a 38mm front fork, and quietly built the rest on the front fork, and 6 months later this SFC replica was ready: STAY HUNGRY.

Very nice build.

Have no doubt that what I'm building is about three times the work of making an SFC rep. The end result is hopefully that I have a bike that would eat one anywhere but that I can ride to work on or take touring, on or off the bitumen  :D Might even look good  :P

I reckon this one would eat just about ANY Laverda ....... off the bitumen.

"Hi Jim, without a chain on the sprocket, you will definitely lose ...  ;)
Ciao, Gert"
And without a clutch cable it might struggle getting off the line.
"I have heard this bike is very competitive"
Is it still racing? Classic flat track?

early engine, checkout the oval clutch bung, breather looks like its on the oil filler opening and Mikuni carbs.

I would like to know (a lot) more about this bike, whose frame etc, My son, Thomas is current UK Thunderbike champion, flat track, and the UK vintage class is very much up and coming, you never know, I might have a go!
