I bought this with all good intentions to fix up the couple of issues with it and ride it. Alas, I just don’t have the time to spend on it.
Clutch plates are gummed up so the clutch needs removal, disassembly and cleaning.
Carburettors could do with replacing all seals, jets etc.
Has new Ikon shocks and Red Cawte electronic ignition (both need installing).

There are guys in the Sydney club who could get that going for you, and install the ignitech. If time is your only problem. Then you could join us on some rides. Being alone in your helmet with your thoughts is so important for mental health, should be compulsory I think. If Vlad was out searching for the perfect corner, I doubt we would be in this mess.

Nice bike, I'm not interested as I already bought a RGS this last winter. I am curious about your "Gummed up clutch" comment. My bike has 5400 miles and the original clutch. Once in a while I go into first and the clutch is not fully disengaged and the hydraulics feel fine. Is this a symptom of a gummed up clutch? I have had so many old jap bikes and I never saw clutches 'gummed up'. What would it be gummed up with? I was planning on "riding the issue out" or in other words, once I use it for a little bit the issue will disappear (wishful thinking i'm sure)

Thought anyone?

Many people have had trouble with the clutch plates sticking together when the bike is idle for a while. Stripping and cleaning does not always solve the problem. The clutch is relatively easy to free up usually. There have been a few discussions on this previously.
 
On a Tassie trip, one of the more recent from a slumber Corsa Laverdas had clutch issues, a scary one that had the bike leap forward after not disengaging the clutch with the lever fully pulled. That turned out to be an issue with the piston in the master sticking and it needed a rebuild.
