spark plugs

You don't need anything special like Iridium plugs. NGK B8ES is the usual plug specified for Laverda triples with resistor type plug caps. Maybe B9ES if you're racing. If you're not using resistor plug caps, you should use a plug with a built-in resistor such as NGK BR8ES.

Some people will prefer other brands (Bosch, ACDelco, Champion, or whatever) and that's perfectly OK. I won't list the equivalents because I don't recall their numbering systems. Just check a spark plug cross-reference chart for an equivalent of the NGK numbers above.

Beware of fake NGK spark plugs though. Some on-line suppliers sell imitation plugs. Buy your spark plugs from a reputable source.
