Speedo drive drumbrake triple

All Laverda drums shared the same speedo drives, no difference if 1st or 2nd series.  Different drives for different instruments obviously.

Just curious: Brev, Fontana, Gremica... whatever ?

Have to agree the 73 Jota Triple came with BREV Drums from the factory, the same as on the 750 SF but 750's also came with various drums and not designated SF as in Super Ferino.

Just being wary he actually has a BREV Drum ?

BREV SF Drums (Front and Rear) are rare today.

Want to see a PIC of his front wheel.

Does his front wheel look like this?

Hi, triples (see topic...) only came with the Brevettato drum. Found one on ebay minus speedo drive - had been stuck onto a Yamaha SR 500. I want to replace the 4ls brake that's on it currently.

The cost of shipping may play a factor ;o(

There's nothing like a Big Drum Brake with spokes on the front wheel to stop the Show - Screw Hydraulic Dual Disc's and Cast Rims Vs Cerriani Forks, Borrani Rims, Pirelli Tires and Mechanical Cable Double Shoe Drum Brakes - What more could you ask for ?

Just a hint why my 70 750SF could do 120 mph + at 7800 rpm and stop on a dime ;o)

Granted Disc's where better when it was dry but them drums where king when it rained.

Seemed to me I always had a cloud over my head when I fired up the Breganzie.

I would NOT stand a chance in Hell against a modern BMW 850F but what the hell, I'd be in view of his rear view mirror.

After a lot of fiddling it always went well for about 100-200km. Then I crashed after some horrible fading in a downhill section with tight corners. Converted to disc brakes and now want to go back to original - I don't ride as hard anymore.

Downhill sections with tight corners are still as hard.
