This is one factory tool that I do not own, but a borrowed one proved useless on an alloy wheel

a but like the key/turner thingy, supplied for engaging the gears without the two outer covers in place, fits and works well on the twins but is no good on the triples. Both those factory tools are shown and listed as being suitable for the triples when in fact they are not.

Bigger hammer and levers that don't flex.  2x2x1/4 angle iron with a semi circle ground in one end to fit (roughly) the drive gear, pivot on a lump of 4x2.  No heat or cold this time, just a good clout from a 4lb'er, moved on the first hit. 
Note to self................Stop being a pussy!!!!!!!!!!!!
