Did I read on here that its possible to have the speedo drive splines on a drum front wheel reinstated?
If its possible can you suggest anybody in the uk and roughly how much.

The speedo drive crown wheel is a separate part to the wheel - and is replaceable as a spare part - Regards - Phil

Like wot Phil said, I think the steel gear is simply a shrink fit onto a spigot on the wheel, so once the gear is found, fitting should be simple enough. I think there was a factory puller, to get foooked gears off.

What speedo do you have Smiths or Nippondenso.

In which case there are 2 different ratios used depending on which smiths speedo you have. I may have a spare gear for a nippondenso speedo which is why I asked which you have but I've none for a Smiths.
