Work has slowed (read stopped) whilst waiting for the CRMC to decide on more modern 17 ins wheels, 4 piston calipers etc for the post classics; By then I'd decided to keep it more standard than racer by using the original parts.

My little brother has been busy bless him. Among various other 'bits and bobs' he has turned up a couple of bosses for the front discs and spacers for the wheel and spindle. For the rear brake I plan to use the GSXR disc with a brembo caliper off an old BMW 1000 flying brick, bolt this to a hanger and tie bar to the swing arm.  Simon will knock up the spacers on his super-dooper lathe along with a couple of footrests. Lots to do but nice to have the time to get started again.

Looking great there.
What's the number 66 bike in the background?

Hi Grant,

It's my Rickman Honda, owned it since 1974, hadn't used it for about five years as not that interested using it on the road so rebuilt it and now gets thrashed parading with the
CRMC and occasional practice days.

Got a picture or two somewhere.

Bit out of focus, my young nephew took it last year. Or try this one from Donington 2010.
