Starter drive gear

I have admitted defeat and sent my starter off to get rebuilt professionally...was spinning freely on the bench but oh so slow under load on the bike....even hooked up to truck battery...so that part is sorted but the rebuilders have said the drive gear on the shaft is buggered...anyone know of an alternative source? Or are we looking like having to get one cut!  :o  Cheers Hamish
 
not sure they sell the starter gear alone, but OCT has brand new SJCE starters with both old and new version of the gear.
