Sometimes my 180 Jota spins over sweetly and other times it really struggles to spin over to start . All connections and the battery are fine any advice

  Sounds like your starter motor needs an overhaul. A strip, clean, a light skim of the comutator, new brushes and a lube up of the bearings mostly has them good as new.
