Hi Paul LeClair,
I have a 1200 with a stiff gearchange (mine has the linkage for a left hand change but this does not appear to be a problem). I seem to recollect that you had a similar problem and went through a number of steps before overcoming the problem. Could you tell me these various steps and what you found was successful in the end.
Mine also jumps out of first gear - did you have this problem?
