Yes, not a tankslapper. I just used that term for want of a better one. Maybe a knee-slapper or a bollock shaker, although that wouldn't apply in her case. I could think of a female alternative to bollock shaker but for the sake of decorum I'll leave it unsaid.
I guess it's some kind of frame oscillation set off by an under-inflated rear tyre, loose spokes, bumps in the road, loose wheel bearings or a combination of several factors. The frame on those bikes looks pretty long and spindly with its long sections of unsupported tube and not much gusseting in evidence. I can't see an engine head steady in the photos either, so the engine doesn't contribute anything to rigidity. I'd guess the frame is about as rigid as a garden gate. That bike is probably OK for tootling about town and posing at cafes, but not for highway use.
