I'm looking for a tachodrive gear/ washers x2 / retaining circlip to fit a 1000/1200/120 degree 3 cylinder. The original one has disappeared into the ether during the rebuild of my RGA Jota...
My phone's broken down, so can't furnish photos, but I can confirm that it's the earlier Jota cam cover and the drive is off the rear (inlet) cam. I cannot be certain that the engine has had an earlier head fitted, along with the Cam cover, but it could be a possibility; I have some receipts in the bike's history for cams.Something doesn't fit here...
Only the 180s and the Jota 120 had the gear retained with a circlip, the 120° RGS-based models used a screw-in bush similar to that in the speedo drive housing.
A pic of your cam cover would help.
I could help you out with a gear for the 180/Jota 120.

PS, I think we had already established you have Jota 120 cams fitted.
On examination of the receipts tht came in the history: The head was certainly refurbished in 2005 with lead free seats and new valve guides by The Cylinder Head Shop . The cams were supplied by Miura Engineering who supplied a pair of 120 Jota cams and a camshaft cover.Could just have had the cams swapped. Shame if so - the original RGA/RGS F1 cam is good
