Does anyone know anything about these tank badges? They came with my Jota project. They look cool but maybe a little showy. Also included were standard badges.

Obviously a dealer special... can only be fitted if backed up with an original certificate, signed left-handed in blood by both Slater brothers and witnessed by the ghost of Francesco Laverda on the 30th. February 1977.

By all means, fit them! They're a piece of history.

I've fitted American Eagle badges to my GTL, mainly to piss off the purists and confuse the experts. 😂 Secondly, because the green of the original clashes with my colour scheme.

£235 a set + customs duty.

When you install the badges be sure to use the approved soft tipped screwdrivers (one for each screw) torque to the correct specifications (the upper and lower screws differ) Align the screw slots parallel to the ground when the rider is seated, shim if needed (if a pillion is to be carried see Appendix 2b for additional instructions)
Wait. Your certification for this operation is still valid. Right?

I've got "Jota" all over my 76 3CL for the same reason. I kept getting told by morons "I haven't seen a Jota in years" whenever I would stop for fuel etc and I got tired of telling them they still hadn't seen one. It's better than a Jota anyway thanks to the wise man of the East, Red. I had designed an alternative decal but he wasn't keen. Might still get the "Redax" bit done and add it anyway.
