Tarrozi rearsets for 3C

I have a set of new Tarrozi rearsets waiting to go on the 3C I'm rebuilding.
A couple of questions. Answers with photos would be nice.

- Can one use the standard rear brake cable or does one have to make one up?
- How do you hook up the rear brake light switch?

Lastly, the setup does away with the original return spring. Is a pair of heavy springs on the brake plate sufficient?

I used the standard cable on my 3c, but you need to add a cable holder and a back stop to the bracket. I use a switch from a Kawasaki which is cable tied to the frame(orange cable ties of course).  A return spring is incorporated into the bracket as well.
 
Triangle brackets are made from steel, notbthe Jota alloy ones, so you can weld bits on. Centre stand tang hits the bottom of the brake lever, which is about to change as I?m going to set the lever up as a heel brake, because I don?t want to cut the tang off my stand.
 
Thanks for the pic Marty. I presume that the brake shoe springs suffice?
The do indeed have the cable lug cast in.

Paul, here's how I did mine.
I bonded a weather proof micro switch to the side of the cast in lug. Then made a plastic 'D' shaped piece that will actuate the switch. The spring around the cable holds pressure on the plastic piece until the lever is depressed. You can see I tried the in-line cable switch first, that didn't work to well. need to redo the cable now to eliminate that...
Like Marty sez, the center stand tang does get in the way. I may do the side stand kit thing and remove the center stand completely.

I think the inline switch would work better w/ cable sheath on each side. Ducati single application:

8mm cable? Will need to check.
Other wise, I'll look into using the lever stop to position a switch.

Has anyone made rearset plates for a cable brake on the right hand side?

I wouldn't be keen on an in-line switch in a cable system. It just makes the cable more complicated, especially if you need a separate cable each side of the switch (which I assume you do).

There are plenty of options for a mechanical switch that would be less than $10 and simple to install. Here's one

If you look at Wayne's photo above, you'll notice that there is an inline switch, which doubles as an cable stop, obviating the need to use a second cable it seems.

I will however be looking into using a release switch like he does, similar to front brake lever switches, but mounted on the lever stop below the cable.

I found the in-line cable switch to be to sensitive. Any deflection of the cable from suspension movement would trigger the switch. I mounted on the cable as close to the pedal as possible to keep wire runs short. The micro switch works well.
