Interesting ride, pretty cool at the start. At one point I pull over to swap to winter gloves, button up the jacket collar and soften the damping. While we were waiting at the 7/11 fuel station we all noticed a fully white Yamaha FJR 1300 that looked like a wantaby Cop doing the slow roll right past the Bowzers eyeballing the crowd or so it was said, and then Eagle Eyed Marty said look at his Number Plate, HP, and it had sirens fitted. I couldn't see a pistol belt but apparently, it was an undercover Hyway Patrol Bike Cop. I had seen the Black K serious Unmarked bike up there but this one was new. I had a pleasant run to breakfast but had an odd issue heading home later. The Odometer hit 206ks and the bike started backfiring and cutting out, so I went to reserve on the fuel taps but it still kept doing the same. I hit the first Petrol station and filled up, it only took 14litre so it wasn't that low and after filling it the bike went back to running well. My pet Pro Bike Mechanic mate tells me I need to clean out the fuel taps, handy with a just-filled tank. Better get it done before the Tassie trip.
