TEK MP08 Coil

Came across the information that TEK MP08 coils were used in Honda Goldwing GL 1500, AFAIK a bullet proof mile muncher.

TEK used on many Japanese motors of the day, Kwaka's a notable, very common, there is the grey series and a black series, the latter are higher power type.

Ditto TEK VR pickups ( Kwaka GPZ250 ZZR250 for one ), a very good substitute for replacing the lesser than Bosch, oem. Footprint mounting can be adapted. HTH j.

I have the TEK MP08 coils in my 88 Honda Magna and unfortunately after 36 years, bought the bike new spring of 89. Unfortunately I now need replacements. Honda part number is 17215-MK7-000 but can't seem to find in stock parts under either number.

Those are used on Kawasaki GT 750/ 550 , used to use them on our race bike.
