Firstly a massive thank you to Forum members, ILOC and the wider Global Laverda community
for the very generous donations to Clem's Chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.
There was over 90 names and messages on the flag which was draped over Clem's coffin.
It was a very poignant moment to see the flag on his coffin with all his friends names on the flag
on his final journey and in the Church last Monday in front of us.
It is estimated up to 300 peope attended the funeral, the church was absolutely packed out, and
Clem's 1200 TOG (The Old Girl) right outside the front door to the church, with several other Laverdas
behind it on the pathway as a "guard of honor"
The whole funeral was very moving, with a very illuminating vicar, and finally laying Clem to rest next
to his lovely wife Andrea who passed in January 2012.....
I and everyone else will never forget this Laverda stalwart, he was a fine friend to everyone, and I was
proud to have been his friend and have known him.
I wish to thank everyone on behalf of David and Tom, Clems sons, and his family for all the donations
