Dawn service was interesting, not as personal as a town of 500 where I normally go, some how.
On another note ..............  :o Collingwood (puke) pulled a stick out of there arse yesterday, looked like a real footy team again.

Didn't watch the game, but were the Bombers much of an opposition given most of their team is suspended?
 
Good to see the Hawks clutched victory from the jaws of defeat, again :D

My daughter plays AFL for her schools inter-school sport. 
Last weeks score 99 - 0, she plays for the scoreless team, and suggested the umpire was biased.  ::)
I sort of question her logic, the week before was 79 - 8, yep, her team was the 8.

"Victoria Police is cracking down on motorbike riders after nearly 30 deaths since the start of the year."

Operation Motus, which is being launched today, will see police targeting issues such as speeding, drink-driving, drug-driving and road safety.
Assistant Commissioner Doug Fryer said 29 motorbike riders had died this year, mostly due to rider error.
He said the number was as high as the entire total for 2015.

In Norway they tell us that 60% of MC fatalities are riders who have never had a licence or a bike and illegally borrowed or stole the bike (sounds hard to believe), and of course high speed was involved. It must be the strictest licence training and testing in the world here, but the laws are only for the law abiders.
 
Living on one of the Adelaide Hill's favourite 'race tracks', I put most of the M/C fatalities down to stupidity. :(

Well done the Tigers, what a cracker of a game (congrats).

Going out for dinner tonight, might have to go to the car a few times to get things that I 'forgot' and get a quick update. Should be home before the final siren so I can have a bottle of sandwiches to celebrate a magnificent Hawks win :D.
