The Omega engine from Astron Aerospace could be ideal for Motorcycles ?

It can use Hydrogen fuel cells as well. I believe Toyota is working on Hydrogen Power using this engine design ?
 
Believe it or not it shares design features with the Trabant twin.... A single central disc valve for one. You could call it a 2 stroke diesel I suppose.
Fires every time round, Injection, compression, ignition, release spent gases.
It's gonna sound like a chaffcutter with no silencers or manifold joining the two rotating elements.
Layering them into rows of rotating elements won't be easy as the inlet path gets complicated quickly.
 
Whats gets me is that design allows for an aspirated engine with an built in Super Charger and it's NOT a Turbine !

Well Greg, you said "believe it or not". I choose "not". :)

I've never seen inside a Trabant 2-stroke engine, but I believe it's a reasonably conventional two-cylinder engine with pistons, conrods, crankshaft, etc. I'm struggling to see much similarity with this Omega thing that has none of the above. All just has a couple of rotors with lumps on them.

The thing I'm struggling to understand is that the two rotor shafts are geared to rotate synchronously at the same speed, but they have different diameters. The meshing gears must have different pitch, and there must be some sliding contact where the rotors contact each other (I presume they must be in contact with each other in order to seal). Why would they build it like that?
