This forum is a coronavirus free zone!

The misses said she wanted to ?stop the spread?.  So I replied ?that?s fine, there are plenty of other positions we can try?.  ???

I'm doing Bacardi, yay Puerto Rico, none of this Colorado muck:-). And, I was able to get myself to start putting my Jota gearbox back together. It's scary how much you forget about these engines when you haven't done it in 40 years.
Don't worry, I'll pull it all apart and do it properly tomorrow when I'm sober. Not like I have anything else to do .... only 2000 dead in New York today ....

You guys are nothing but a pack of boozy bastards!

On medical advice, I no longer drink alcohol.  :(

I spoke to my neighbour on the phone again today (they're locked up because he tested positive for the virus after getting home from overseas). I asked if they needed me to get anything at the shops for them. He said they were OK because BWS (the local grog shop) were doing home deliveries. They're not too bothered about food, but he reckons they'd go stir crazy if they weren't able to drink grog!

?Footy player you?d most like to have a schooner with?? Its printed on the underside of the cap I just took off my beer. A: Dustin Martin.

:o I wonder if BWS deliver in Brisbane, I might get a box of Corona sent here.

At least they couldn?t be like the delivery drivers for McDonalds, allegedly, they pinch your chips out of the bag, while on the way to your house.

Which would be a bummer, especially if you are a grub and like their chips.

Sad but true for too many unfortunately, Cam.

A mate dropped by yesterday morning about 10 on his way home from town. An espresso and shot of bourbon seemed like a good idea. We managed to drain half a bottle of bourbon by the time he left early afternoon. Wrote the rest of the day off for me.

I'm sure your going to take toke of your friends joint when he has no respect and coughs onto your glass of Scotch !

Last thing I'm going to say about Covid-19.

Bourbon Ron, not Scotch.
If it was Scotch they would have probably drunk the whole bottle (cheers)

(apologies to Admins)
For some reason (too much Bacardi maybe) I just started watching "On the Beach", the 1959 Gregory Peck/Ava Gardner version. Directed by Stanley Kramer, who knew? Anyway, made me realise, no matter how bad it gets with the bug, it's still so much better that what people in 1959 had to deal with. Yeah, it was just a movie, and it wasn't a pathogen, just good old lethal radiation, but they could have woken up the next day and it would have become real. We don't have that. No matter how bad it gets we WILL have a vaccine and then it will just fade away, just like SARS/MERS/Ebola/H1N1 and I don't know how many others. Technology has made an incalculable  difference for us. Watch "Virus" from 1980, a Japanese view of a global pandemic, and you'll appreciate what 40 years of development of biotechnology has actually done for us.

Do yourself a favor, watch: End of Watch.
No virus involved, but it made me wonder why the Yank Cops do their jobs.

PS: If you don't like hearing the word fuck, fucked, fucker, fucking or fuck fuckity fuck, don't watch it.
