This week's joke

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed a while back, Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

You know your kids are growing up when......

Neither of them can be bothered putting the xmas tree up and one of them even goes to the trouble of reminding me I'm an atheist..... yeah yeah but ya gotta have a xmas tree.....sigh. I wish they were that forthright about doing the washing up!

Anything else I should look out for?

yes, pimples disappear, the boys start showering three times a day instead of just once a month at gunpoint - a sure fire indicator they've discovered 'girls'

Empty cans of aerosol whipped cream left in the car after they have borrowed it to take the girlfriend for a "drive"
