Thread Copy and Paste

I want to copy a complete thread, paste it to word, edit out the rubbish, and save.

I can't work out how to copy a complete thread in this software version.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg

I think he means a complete thread.

Good question, one for Rob the IT guru. Probably one of those use cases he never even considered.

Gotta say though Greg, respect if what you're doing is editing, filing and saving useful tech info from here over the years. That is next-level stuff. This from a guy scanning all his old photo negatives onto a NAS during lockdown!

And what about pictures? Fine will be if the copy could include pics at the original position. (If only an icon "save the thread in pdf")... In order to remove the undesidered posts each post could be selected through a square icon... Just a thought

The complete thread.

An example is the older thread on the Zane cam chains. Lots of good technical info, c/w failures, part numbers, possible solutions. All going into my paper based Zane folder.

Same thing happened on the Ducati MS forum a couple of years ago. They haven't managed to resolve the "Thread copy" issue. Dunno if it is the same software.....

I dunno about that, the Tech pages here are hallow ground. Nobody here would add unwanted drivel

Doesn't that just copy the page you're on? Could get a bit tedious if it's a 35 page thread.
