Throttle lock

I guess Q's comment about Chicken Neck describes how those hairs twisted together and started pulling. It was that painful and oddly like hard static electricity shocks. The fix was worse than the numb bum. Just goes to show how much you move about going side to side on the seat on a twisty road.

I have ordered one of the Atlas ones from a place in Norway. Will see how it fits with my Magura quick action throttle and SF vibration. Also got a referral for MR for carpal tunnel, mid August. Bike been test ridden now tried on motorway up around 5000rpm , seems ok, and I do not need much effort at all to hold the throttle open, so that doesn't seem to be a problem. With the Atlas type I should be able to take my hand off the bar, the paddle things you still have to be on it.

That's why I have both. I rarely use the Vista throttle lock. It's only safe, that's a loaded word on long straight roads, handy, pun, to give your hand a shake or hold a higher idle when the engine of your bike is cold to hold an idle to put on gloves. The cramp-buster gadget takes away 95% of any hand muscle stress anyway. BTW I really like that Atlas design and would have one in a heartbeat except their eye wateringly expensive. The one issue with that Vista gadget is it needs a rotational stop shoulder, where the cables enter the throttle in a position where the thumb lever can be positioned so your thrumb is right on top of it and my setup isn't. It's a bit off-position but still usable.
