Throttle tube

I busted a throttle twistgrip tube a few years ago. The plastic flange broke away around the cable nipple hole. I just bought a generic one from a bike accessory shop that looked about right. It fitted OK.

Handlebars are all the same diameter (7/8" I think) so the ID should be OK. Unless it's a quick action type with a larger cable pulley, the other dimensions don't change much. Just check that it's long enough and the cable pulley will fit inside the housing. They're pretty much all plastic so easy to modify with hand tools if necessary.

I called Robinsons Suzuki and they told me they had been supplying Slaters with Suzuki throttle tubes and grips.... with the numbers Richard had been buying in they could only be the correct ones...
A pair ordered and exactly correct, apart from tiny 'S' logos in the rubber,

Suzuki part numbers

might help someone!
