It came in a fancy cardboard box. As I was carrying it back to my car the arse fell out of the box. The bottle dropped out and smashed on the concrete. It was a tragedy. I felt like getting down on my hands and knees to lick it up. But I didn't. My grieving process was limited to inhaling the aroma for a bit. I went back and asked if the product came with any warranty, seeing as it was their packaging that failed. The bloke said "Yes, it comes with a concrete warranty. It's guaranteed until it hits the concrete".![]()
I have heard that some booze retailers will replace a bottle if you supply the neck with the cap/cork/seal still intact ... no idea why they would do that??? Dropping the bottle is surely user error?Dellortoman said:On the subject of warranties, I once bought a bottle of limited edition and rather pricey rum at a promotion event at my yacht club sponsored by Bundaberg rum.
