Tina’s on her back, toes up

My grandfather , on my mothers side , was born just outside Dublin , but strangely I`ve never had a weepy-eyed desire to go over there and explore my ( partial ) family roots ........ reference some American politician bloke recently .......... My mother was born in Singapore , but I have never considered myself half Asian .....

Seeing Boris Johnson was born in New York , that would make him technically American ... ...... ( any takers over there ? ) ....... Elizabeth Taylor was born in London , to American parents ........ It`s all starting to get rather complicated .........

Back when I was at school , an announcement was made at morning assembly requesting all those whose parents had been born overseas to meet together afterwards .......... Seeing one of my parents fitted into this category I thought maybe I should go along .......
Of course , when I arrived it was a matter of " Hey whitey , what you doing here ... ? .." ...... and that was just the headmaster .........

It gets complicated when you try and paste King and country, or whatever, over it.

I knew a couple of riders who when they wanted to ride in the UK, used the parent/grandparent avenue for UK residency - and thus became eligible for an ACU competition licence. For a while starting in the late 80's you had to have a UK competition licence to ride in most events there. Don't know if it still applies.
Robert Holden was one who qualified this way. You'd have had to as well Cam if you'd wanted to race there.
