Triple 1000 180 engine: what is that?

I am curious about this component (circled in the attached picture) installed on the bottom of the engine of 1000 triple 180.
Is right below the gear selector assembly.
Can be a sort of inspection valve (of button) to verify if the volume above has oil?

If that’s your triple engine, the crush washer on the neutral switch is going to leak oil, suggest you rectify it ASAP.

Only lack of knowledge from my side about this component.
I was guessing the functioning.
