Sourced from Slater Laverda many moons ago ........ well used by me , but you`d never guess by looking at it ..........

Lets say forty five quid including UK postage ......... overseas I`ll probably have to add a bit on ........ that`s if your`e interested ..........

Are you never going to be staring down that nut again😮

Seems a little unlikely Sir Sid .........

Unless maybe I could get 1200*1637 back again ....... I gather it`s been gathering dust ( or rust ) somewhere in South Wales since I sold it six years ago .

Wonder if the current keeper would consider a swop for a 4XV R1 ? ......... ...............

Seriously though , with the volume of traffic , and the continual roadworks in and around Bristol , there are times when I`m stuck in a line of stop / start traffic ( again ) that I think to myself .... " Thank Christ I`m not on the Laverda ... " .......

Terrible isn`t it ? ....... But that`s the truth of the matter ..........

Things can get so bad that on one occasion even the ( standard ) clutch on one of the R1`s that I had at the time was rapidly calling it a day ..... the Mirage with it`s 1960`s transmission and reluctance to engage neutral at a standstill would be sheer murder when inching forward a few feet every ten seconds , with no means of escape , or space to filter through the four wheeled mess .

Shame really , I`d have liked to have got the mileage over the 300,000 mile mark ....

If I still had it , it would probably be just about there by now ......... ...............
