I've been considering for awhile the need for a more 'upright' riding position given my ongoing issues with my hands, wrists, elbows etc but didn't want to sacrifice the performance of the 'sportier' bikes in my garage. So as it was my birthday yesterday, and the opportunity presented itself, I have acquired a more 'sit up and beg' type of machine. However, it's not a Laverda, and one of my Laverda-owning viking chums was most concerned, hence the title of the thread. I sort of appease my conscience by thinking it's a bike from the company that owns the Laverda name, plus it might help prove to Paul Marx I haven't got an incurable Zane disease.
The only problem is, I may have found a cure for the wrist, elbow, shoulder ache of leaning on clip-ons but now have to contemplate having my arms and head ripped off instead....
