Hello all, -
Galen here. I am going to list our ‘83 RGS in the next few months in the publications or auction. I really love this bike, however it’s just not getting ridden as its designers intended. I would prefer it go to a NA member who can appreciate this lovely girl. PM me for details if interested. Interesting history. Located western Washington state.
Mileage: 13,052
Incudes: factory accessory panniers and mounting system, Boyer Todd ignition, TEC coils, proper horn relay w/dedicated switch lead, Maserati horns (original non-functioning, horns included), Odyssey battery, some spares and all original components, including the BTZ ignition and Motoplat coils (…nasty things), rebuilt instrument cluster (rebuilt in Australia). Also included: original tool kit, workshop manual, parts list, owner’s booklet, receipts from Wolfgang, etc.
This is a US spec bike that was originally sold to a Rhode Island dealership (Road & Race) as half of a two-bike shipment. This dealership went bust in short order wherein the bank took possession (I have the docs). It was eventually purchased by the same previous US distributor, who then knowledgeably recommissioned it and discovered, to his surprise, he still had sale notes and history from the original sale, which I was fortunate enough to acquire when I acquired the bike from him. At the time it had 5,282 miles on it. All maintained and functioning as designed with the exception of the much improved advance profile of the Boyer-Todd!
I can go on. Price: $13k.

PM me know if you’d like additional info.
