How about this Norton with a Rover V8.

If I remember right when a pic was published in Performance Bike ? the comment was made that maybe
somewhere there's a Rover struggling up a hill with a Norton twin under the bonnet....

That Mazda V6 is available up to 2.5 litres I believe - at the same physical size.
a better choice though would be a 2 litre V4 16V Suzuki IMO

There's a bit of video on YouTube of this engine on its first (?) start-up.  Sounds nice... if you like that sort of thing
