Valve clearance, need reminding how to on a 120 triple

Evening all, I don’t have access to any of my hard copy manuals or folders of all work done to my lav, long boring story....
But I want to check valve clearances, but it’s been a very long time and can’t quite remember how I did it before.
Can somebody point me toward the procedure for measuring the valve clearances?
Do I just rotate the engine and as each lobe points away, measure, ? I’ve seen lots of posts about loading or leaning on the cam,
I have downloaded the RGS Manual but it does not specify any particular sequence, I checked around page 19
Maybe I am thinking too much about the way I used to do the Z1000A1
Thanks for any advice,
Stuart

Ancient old 1970's design motor.
Get each cam lobe with the base circle next to the cam follower, with the lobe 180 degrees opposite your measuring point, chuck a feeler gauge in there and calculate what the shim needs to be to be within spec and ignore the nit picky bollocks. .
Sort it, bung it back together and ride the thing. Be more concerned with the twat that might pull out in front of you while you are having fun! These clunkers aren't that precise as to be dicking about with gnats nadger adjustments. ;)

I might get shot down for this, but if it's within 1 thou, I leave it for next time. More than 1 thou out of adjustment, pull it apart. 120 jota has needed 1 adjustment in 100,000 km

,maybe i should have looked after the calender a bit better, instead of leaving it hanging at the back of the shed. This was a couple of years before i bought it from Wlodek, he was a polisher, im more of a rider..... as for the girl, i was at the photo shoot, but cant remember her name. One of Steve Roberts girlfreinds at the time, Steve has a 1200 painted nipple pink, with an extended 27 litre tank. See if i can find a picture of it, interesting machine.
