I am looking for a VHB30AD carb body.
I have a pair of VHB30ASes but would prefer to have the right side VHB30AD for the right side.
I just need a good right side body as I have all the other bits from my second left body.
Ideally would prefer one from US or CAN for shipping costs but...... will consider any.
Thanks

Have a look on Guzzi pages and forums.

Although outwardly similar, the common Guzzi VHB fitments differ substantially from what Laverda fitted.

The Guzzi VHBs generally have accelerator pumps, integrated into the main jet holder. The stock Laverda main jet holders do not fit in the Guzzi carbs. The Lav twins don't particularly like the VHB pumps, I spent several months of mucking around before junking them.

OK will look. In the Northern Suburbs of Chicago is Joe W. He operates "The Guzzi Doctor" three weeks ago he was going to trade carb bodies with me. His was a VHBT or something similar and he thought it would work. It appeared the same until you lifted it's skirt and peered underneath. The fuel bowl was held on with something else than the bottom bolt. Couldn't even be modified.
Wolfgang told me He would have to break up a pair and to just use the two lefts. I have done that for awhile on the GT, but would like to get the correct left and right. I have a faint hope someone has two rights.
I just want it to be as"right" as I can get it. May just have to accept what I got.
I will also continue to check out MGs.
I have been seeing your travel pics, they look nice.
Thanks Paul

So close but too far different.

Even the older Guzzi? Generation V7? The are 3 types of VHB I believe, VHBA, VHBB AND VHBC with the squirt pump. Float bowls differ. It's detailed on Ducati Paddy's site if I remember correctly.

Larry, I may have a VHBAs body at home. I'd need to check but won't be home for another 2 weeks.
