They haven't got the time for this approach in the UK, too busy stopping machete gangs nowadays. When I was younger I met a bit of this though.
 
No fine from what I saw, been there and done that thankful only twice in my riding time. I was on my own on a well-known Sydney riding road and saw a newish car unmarked parked well off the road, as I passed it I gave it a good hard look and noticed the radar box on its dash and turned my head back and shook it side to side. That infuriated the Cop inside who launched out on the road and pulled me over asked for my licence and proceeded to abuse me roadside for a good 5 minutes loudly complaining about my disrespecting him and how my type were running amuck on this road and he was determined to clear all bikes out of that area, I keep my mouth shut and eventually got my licence back with no fines thankfully. It's so hard to hold your tongue hearing petty small minded crap like that when they have your license in their hand. Righty or wrongly fighting BS charges in court costs a fortune. Just to show how entitled and dumb this Cop in the video is he did all that knowing he was being recorded and still did it anyway. Thankfully not all Cops are like this but some are.
 
those kids from school who couldnt get jobs but eventually joined the police do after a long time get old, this Aussie cop deserves to be struck off, simply because he treated you like you are a seven year (actually I dont do that to seven year olds) he didnt know the rules re the stand foot and the carrier, and the camera??? yes a bit of a grey area, that video should be presented to the court and his boss as well.

I’m lucky, we have “ Hot Fuzz” patrolling Exmoor , only see them at the Chinese or eating ice cream by the sea front. Last bit of action they saw was the Jeremy Thorpe trial in the 70’s..Any serious plod come from Bristol and believe me they are too busy!

Just watched this .... I've heard NSW cops can be 'difficult' but this is simple victimisation. I shudder to think what that guy would do if he pulled me over on the SFQ. Would 50 years of ownership and 52 years a licenced rider work in my favour???
 
It didnt with me in that head-shaking story I related,I was in my 60s with 45 years as a rider and I still got a 5-minute lecture about just being on a bike riding there. Some insist on running riders off The Old Rd doest matter if its lawful or not. He was probably mid 20s and he was loving to speak to me like I was a school kid. Entitled Arrogant Cops with no oversight do what they like. That wanker in the video knew he was on Camera and still didn't give a shit, it's called Copsplaing. Thats when they slowly explain the bleeding obverse to members of the public, Mid-40s and still with no strips says a lot.
