WANTED! BORRANI 4743 rim

Hi, a friend of mine is looking for a original BORRANI - WM3/2.15 18/36 - RECORD - RM-01-4743 rim for the rear wheel of his 750 SFC Electronica. I think this was also mounted to 750 SF2 rear wheel. Please search your sheds and PM or email me! Ciao, Gert

Hi Gert, the same? But this is disc rear versus drum rear of SF2  :

If it's the same as the drum brake wheel, I probably have some, complete wheels though.
If it's the same as the SF2 front, I have one.

Not sure, but wouldn't the spoke holes for a TLS drum hub be at the wrong angle for a disc hub?

Paul's front is, I would think, more likely to work. Best to count the spokes though.

... yes, you are right - drilling could be a problem. So the rim should be "BORRANI - WM3/2.15 18/36 - RECORD - RM-01-4743"!

I have a brand new Borranni 4743 rim, though it is later remanufactured item.

That rim isn't standard fitment on 750s or 3Cs.

Ducati maybe with those disc rear  hubs or Guzzi.

Much better to try and source one undrilled (and porkys might fly?) - bent spokes will NOT be a good look on an SFC!! I guess it depends on the actual diff in dia of the Lav drum and the SFC rear disc hub whether you could get away with it. Assuming the same spoke pattern.

I agree with forum member comments, that rim don't match with Breganzie SF Borrani rims up until 73 750 or 3 Cly's.
