Wanted. Primary Chain Case for a Series One 1200.


I have a cracked primary case, around the area of the front outrigger bearing, not sure how it cracked, but it has and it leaks.


Looks a bugger to weld and remachine.

Based in the UK.

Movement on the bearing?......is it the front one that can gradually wear its way through the casing?

Yes, front outrigger bearing, it looks like it spun in the case, jammed, twisted and the pounding of the crank split the case over time. :-(

I have one surplus to requirement, located in Germany. Repaired crash damage, but looks quite presentable. Photos and pricing via PM if interested.

If the bearing has spun, the crank is most probably crooked. It'll pound the next cover to buggery pretty quick.

I have one, but an earlier type with the 1000 logo cast in so it may look a bit odd on a 1200. Let me know if interested.
