WAS THE FAMOUS DRUMMER JOHN WARE A LAVERDA FAN?

Hi,

one of my best friends (obiously deeply involved in motorcycles) yesterday remember to me John Ware, a good drummer who played with some famous artist as Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris in the Hot Band, wore a t-shirt with the Laverda brand clearly visible at several concerts.
The image my friend has sent me was dark but I've found some better pics and improved it a bit.
It's funny and could be interesting know if he wore the t shirt due to an eventual passion for Breganze motorcycles or just by chance, maybe because he liked the graphics of the Laverda brand in its most modern version.
John Ware is still alive and in a good health, so can ask it directly to him...

Ciao

Sorry, but I cannot understand what you mean, probably with a "slang" word.

Any relation with the famous writer ans former special force soldier , Andy McNab?

The only thing I am able to find is this : To be Mcnabbed is to be plagued with injury and unable to finish an entire season" :)

P.S Not to nitpick, but the correct diction for te names is Linda Ronstadt & Hemmylou Harris :) :) :)

Not being an English speaker, I try to avoid mistakes as much as possible, although not always successfully.
But for names and surnames it is not difficult and for those mistakes that I still make unintentionally, I apologize in advance!

Ciao

A McNab is catching a Trout, shoot a deer and a grouse in the same day- a desirable trio.

That's fine, we say something similar when a hunter exaggerates that he caught a partridge as big as a turkey
or a fisherman claims to have caught a trout almost as big as a shark
There is a famous Italian joke about a hunter who, after listening to certain exaggerations from his friends, begins to tell about his latest hunt.

He says that with a single shot he killed a hare, but after passing through it, the bullet killed a deer,
but the bullet had not yet stopped
and at this point, he saw that a bus was passing in the background.

The hunter pauses and the others ask worriedly "And what happened then??"

And he: "Either reduce the size of your hares and pheasants, or I will make a massacre!" :) :) :) :)

Then you have never lived Mr SFC addict ;)
You have to consider that my dad place me on an Italjet miniMX about at five years and three years later I raced the first time,
It was allways the same since 19, when a big crash stopped me and worried my father to support again the racing activity
.
Before the above date, my relationships with girls, friends, music and everything other than the sports of motorcycling, boxing and skiing were just brief moments of distraction.

So there are probably other things I missed. ;)

probably a lot of things (songs, movies, books, travels) were missed living at full throttle.

For twelve years, I managed my workshop together with my wife who took care of the financial aspects and the shop.
Neither of us, apart from the children to raise and not always, had a life outside of work for those 12 years.

Ten years ago, I finally decided that I wanted a tourist-oriented life.
We closed the workshop, then came to live in the countryside, in the middle of nowhere.

I would like to make up for all the time I lost along the way by always rushing too much. :)

Your passion, when it also becomes your job, is wonderful but it risks absorbing every moment of your life and leaves you no time for anything else.

Ciao amici :)
