I particularly loved the 30th in the Laverda font. "What's that? Too tricky? Oh, well never mind."

this was the model I used to have and sold (stupidly) I took the handlebar fairing off mine and the engine fairings too I used to kid myself that the instrument binicle kept the wind blast off me :D
 
I love mine.  The bodywork may put some of the uninformed off, but it's an honest period piece and a fine machine to spend time on.  Not fussy in the least, just strong, reliable power for those who fancy touring rather than bar-hopping.  :P
 
You can't really compare the early 1200s with the TS. Totally different styling. The early 1200 is actually a nice looking bike in my opinion. As for the running aspect I'm glad I brought a 1200 instead of a jota when I was looking for a triple. Throw in a Motodd frame and it'll out handle a jota and looks fucking ace. It just took a Motodd frame to improve the looks of the TS :D
 
I don"t mind the Anniversary if the fairing is on,that pic has the 30th lettering has been redone or before the grappa kicked in. :D
 
It looks like being polished up for sale. Look at the different colors of the body parts. Some look freshly painted, some like having been in the sun for to long. Rest looks pretty standard with some exceptions. Current price is still ok, not sure where it will go. Remove the fairings and the bike looks way better. Almost as ugly as the R100RT BMW from beginning of the 90's...
 
Nothing at all unusual about the paintwork on that bike.  The color typically ages differently, according to whether it is on the plastic or the metal fuel tank.
 
Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and other people?s opinions count for not one jot.
Love it or hate it, it is what it is, and always will be.
Take away the bits most people are referring to, the engine fairing and the handlebar fairing and it's pretty much the same as most 3c's. Only the pedants will find something to debate and argue over.
Personally I think it's a nice bike, but what does my opinion count for,
NOTHING.
